Smocking Version 1

How-To Video https://youtu.be/aNLJH_cAPgU This pattern requires 4 sts plus 3 extra. You will need to create a twisted 3 by 1 rib. cast on 15 sts. In the image above I completed the smocking for 20 rows. Row 1 (RS) K1, (K1 tbl, P3) to the last 2 sts, K1 tbl, K1 Row 2 (WS) K1, (P1 tbl, K3) to the last 2 sts, P1 tbl, P1 Repeat these two rows until it reaches your desired length. After you have completed the rib you will create the smocking by wrapping yarn around the knit rows, pulling them together. Use the image above as a reference.

Your Recreations

From time to time I get emails from happy knitters about how well their projects turn out. Until now I've not had a way to collect the images in one place. So if you'd like to show me your recreations or if you'd like to get featured please send me a picture file no bigger than 10MB. Thank you for your continued support!
