Loop your yarn around the cardboard but leave 1 strand to the side. You will use this to tie the top. Once your done and you've fastened the top, trim the excess to create a pom pom. This pin is great for using up scrap yarn and makes for good winter decoration.

Repeat from* to end of row Row 2 Purl all Row 3 *K3, K2tog. Repeat from* to end of row Row 4 Purl all Row 5 *K2, K2tog. Repeat from* to end of row Row 6 *P1,P2tog. Repeat from* to end of row Row 7 *K2tog. Repeat from* to end of row Cut yarn leaving a long tail, attach sewing needle and weave through last stitches to fasten shut. Turn your mitten inside out and sew up the seam. Weave in all loose ends.
